John graduated from Beaverton High School in 2020 with a 1st-Team All-State selection and the Metro League Player of the Year award in 2019.

John continued his career at Ventura College(3C2A) where he played two years earning First Team WSC North selection. He then continued his collegiate career at Western Oregon University(D2), winning one GNAC championship, 1x First Team GNAC Selection, and 1x American Baseball Coaches Association D2 All-Defensive Team selection. John graduated with a degree in Political Science from Western Oregon in 2025.

John just finished his first professional season with the Salem-Keizer Volcanoes in the Mavericks League where he earned an All-Star Team Selection and Silver Slugger award at 3rd base.

He specializes in developing strong fundamentals, advanced hitting techniques, infield fundamentals, and overall game awareness.
